Commissioner’s Cup Tournament Rules
For All Matches
Games should be started ON TIME,
no warm-ups.
Unlimited substitutions on throw-ins for both teams if the
team in possession substitutes first, on goal kicks, and after a goal.
On an injury, the opposing team should be offered 1
substitute if an injured player does in fact come off the field.
A player issued a yellow card MAY be substituted at the option of the coach. Only the cautioned player may be subed.
Sent-off players or dismissed team officials must leave the
playing area and may not remain with their team, and their name/number must be
reported to tournament officials at the conclusion of the match. DO NOT RESTART PLAY UNTIL THE
SENT-OFF/DISMISSED PERSON HAS LEFT.
OBTAIN HELP FROM THE FIELD MARSHALS IF NECESSARY!
If there is a serious injury during your game, please
see Phil Good, Tom Heinz, or Clark Caplan immediately, you will need to fill out a USSF game report for
insurance purposes. We will find a
replacement for any referee that needs to do this, and we will try to make it up
later.
The
referee is responsible for
the game ball, please be sure that the game ball is not lost! If a tournament ball is not available, get
one from the home team…remember to KEEP THE GAMES MOVING.
FIFA Laws
of the Game are in force for anything else not mentioned above.
U12-U14
Match Rules
·
Halves are 25 minutes long with a 5 minute rest interval
between halves.

Ties stand in all matches.
·
All games are played with running time, no stoppages or added time unless there is a
serious injury that requires a medic on the field

Rules
(In addition to the above)
·
No PK's, the ball should be brought to the nearest point
outside the penalty area.
·
No offside.
·
Any ball that is kicked from a goal kick or is punted or
thrown by the goalie must land in that team's own half of the field. If it does not, then an indirect kick should
be awarded at the half-line nearest the point where the ball crossed over it.
·
Opponents must give 8 yards on a free kick or corner kick.
