Ryser and Heinz named MYSL Young Referees for 2004

Please join the MYSL Referee Program in congratulating James Ryser of Tewksbury and Meaghan Heinz of Medford for being named the Middlesex Youth Soccer League's Young Referees of the Year for 2004. Both of these young referees have excelled this past year as MYSL referees and rose to the top of the list. James and Meaghan will be officially presented their awards at the MYSL referee meeting to be held in late March 2005. Please look to this web site for further announcements regarding the award and for further information regarding our two winners.

Both James and Meaghan will also have their names entered, by the league, into nomination for the State Young Referee of the Year award. If either were to win this award they would then qualify for the Regional and National awards. Winning the state award also grants them a spot as a referee at the US Youth Soccer Region I Championships.

James and Meaghan represent the finest qualities of MYSL referees and we are proud to have them as representatives of the MYSL. Congratulations!!
